The second event of the season for the AC Indiana trail was held on Geist Reservoir. Geist is usually one the favorite stops of the season for the guys from the north. Geist offers the opportunity to catch a very big bag of fish, seventeen to nineteen pounds has been the winning weight in several tournaments this year, so expecta- tions were running high for everyone. The weather was absolutely perfect and the weigh in was outstanding. There was nothing dis- appointing about this stop on the seven event trail. There were 23 teams that turned out to fish the event. Congratulations to Aaron Ault and Jason Herrell as they had an outstanding day. Aaron and Jason were able to cull their way through several keepers and end up with the winning weight of 19.15 lbs. Aaron and Jason are the reigning Choice Division An- glers of the Year and were coming off a tough tournament on Morse Reservoir and I just kind of thought they might just blow this one out of the water. They are outstanding fishermen and way to go guys on an outstanding day! In 2 nd place was the team of Erin McCormick and Pat Kaufman. Erin and Pat were able to bring in five awesome fish as well, coming up just short of the leaders, but weighing 17.12 lbs. Erin and Pat were able to top off their limit with the big bass of the tournament that weighed 5.40 lbs. Congratulations to Erin and Pat on a great day! In 3 rd place was the team of Chris Schultz and Jeff Denton. Chris and Jeff have rejoined the Indiana Division this year after a one year rest. They have been mainstays of the Indiana Division for several years and have even won a boat in a regional classic. Chris and Jeff’s

First to bring their fish were our helpers Paul Hollabaugh and (sub) Don Bobay. Their five fish weighed 6.49. There were a total of 14 five fish limit weighed in! The five weighed in at 7.68 lbs. Eric Foister and Jeff Geller had five fish at 9.66 pounds to get the 3 rd place check. We will be going out of the Tippy Dance Hall. Parking should be in the field by the trailer court. There will be a $5 ramp fee. We want to get started at 6:00 AM.
